How do I enable 2FA?
At Dash.Fi, we prioritize the security of your account to safeguard your data. One of the key measures to do so is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), an extra layer of security designed to protect your account from unauthorized access. Enabling 2FA adds an additional step to your login process, ensuring that even if your password is compromised, your account remains secure.
Here's how you can easily enable 2FA on your account:
- Login Prompt: When you log in to your account, you will be prompted to enable 2FA. This step is essential for enhancing the security of your account.
- Scan QR Code: Once prompted, you'll need to use an authenticator app on your smartphone to scan the provided QR code. This QR code contains the necessary information for setting up 2FA.
- Authenticator App: We recommend using reputable authenticator apps such as Google Authenticator or Authy. These apps generate unique, time-sensitive codes that you'll use alongside your password when logging in.
- Enter 6-Digit Code: After scanning the QR code, the authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter this code when prompted during the login process to complete the 2FA setup.
- Regular Authentication: Once 2FA is enabled, you'll be required to enter a 6-digit code every 60 days when logging in on specific devices. This periodic authentication helps ensure the ongoing security of your account.
