How to Make an Instant Payment with Dash Cash

This new feature allows customers on Net Terms (Net 7, Net 15, Net 30) to quickly pay down their credit line using funds in their Dash Cash account. This enables you to instantly unblock your spending limit during busy periods, such as Black Friday/Cyber Monday, without needing to contact support or submit a wire transfer.


Why Use Dash Cash for Payments?

  1. Historically, the only way to pay down your credit line was via scheduled bank transfers, which could be problematic if you were spending up toward your limit and needed an immediate increase in available funds.
  2. This feature puts the power back into your hands, allowing you to quickly and smoothly pay down your line and continue spending within seconds.

Step-by-Step Guide: Making an Instant Payment

To make an instant payment, you must first have funds already available in your Dash Cash account.

  1. Access the Payment Feature: Look for the sticky "Make Payment" button in the header of your Dash.fi account.

    • (Note: This button will only be visible to customers on Net 7, Net 15, Net 30, and above. Net 1 customers will not see this option.)

      Select Payment Source: Click the "Make Payment" button. You will be presented with four sources:

    • International Wire
    • Domestic Wire
    • Connected Bank Account
    • Dash Cash Account (Select this option for instant payment)

  2. Initiate Instant Payment: Select the Dash Cash option. You will see the Dash Cash account listed as the source account.

    Enter Amount: Enter the specific dollar amount you wish to pay down from your outstanding balance (e.g., $10).

    • Example: If you know you are bumping up on your limit but expect a huge day of spending, you can drop a payment amount here to unblock yourself.
  3. Confirm and Process: Click "Continue" and make the payment.

Result of Payment

Your account limit will instantly release, and your available balance will drop within a matter of seconds. You can immediately continue spending with your Dash.fi card.
