How to Add Funds to a Dash Cash Account
The Dash Cash account is designed to give you real-time control and spending flexibility. By adding funds here, you can instantly pay down your credit line in a matter of seconds, which is crucial for busy periods like Black Friday/Cyber Monday when you need to quickly unblock your spending limit.

- Fund Early: We recommend depositing funds into your Dash Cash account well before busy spending periods (eg. Black Friday & Cyber Monday) to ensure immediate availability.
- Instant Access: Once the funds arrive with us and your Dash Cash balance refreshes, they are instantly available to use for manual payments to unblock your credit line. (See the separate video on "How to Make an Instant Payment").
- Low Friction Withdrawal: Funds in the Dash Cash account are fully accessible. You can withdraw them back to your connected bank account at any time using the "Transfer Funds" option. The funds are never locked away.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Access Your Dash Cash Account
- Log into your Dashfi portal as the Account Owner.
- Navigate to the Accounts tab (usually found in the main menu).
- You will see three separate accounts: Dash Cash, Secured Rewards, and Collateral Reserve.
- Select the Dash Cash account.
Step 2: Choose a Funding Method
Click the "Add Funds" button (or use the quick menu). You will be presented with three secure options:
Method 1: Connected Bank Account (ACH Transfer)
This method schedules an Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer from a bank account you have already connected to Dashfi.
- Select the Connected Bank Account (ACH) option.
- Choose the specific bank account you wish to transfer from.
Enter the amount you wish to deposit (e.g., $100,000).
Click "Add Funds."
- Processing Time: Payments are scheduled with your bank. Allow approximately 3 to 5 business days for the funds to process and settle in your Dash Cash balance.
Method 2: Domestic Wire Transfer
This method provides you with unique wire instructions for a fast transfer.
- Select the Domestic Wire option.
You will be presented with specific, unique wire instructions.
CRITICAL: Ensure the memo line is copied and used correctly during your bank's wire transfer process. Using the specific memo allows the funds to auto-settle into your account more quickly.
- Processing Time: Typically 1 to 2 business days, depending on the time of day the wire is initiated.
Method 3: International Wire Transfer
This method is similar to the domestic wire but allows for selection of currency.
- Select the International Wire option.
Choose the currency you would like to send in.
You will be provided with unique wire instructions and a SWIFT field.
- Processing Time: Typically 1 to 2 business days.
