# Manage cards

> View card details, reveal sensitive data, edit settings, freeze, archive, duplicate, and share cards.

All card management actions are available from the card detail sheet. Click any card in the list to open it.

## View card details

The detail sheet shows:

* **Limit** — the card's spend limit
* **Current** — amount spent in the current period
* **Available** — remaining balance
* A utilisation bar (turns yellow above 75%, red above 90%)
* Card name, type (recurring or single-use), and cardholder
* Spending controls (limit type, category restrictions, and allowed countries)

## Reveal sensitive card data

Click **Details** in the card detail sheet to reveal the full card number, expiry date, CVV, and billing address. Sensitive data is visible to the cardholder and to users with admin-level card permissions.

Revealed data **auto-hides after 40 seconds**. You can also click **Hide** to clear it manually.

Each field has a copy button for use when entering card details into a payment form.

## Edit card settings

Click the gear icon in the card detail sheet to edit the card. You can update:

* Card name
* Spend limit and limit frequency
* Spend category controls
* Allowed countries

**What can't be changed after creation:**

* Card type (recurring vs single-use) — permanent
* Cardholder — permanent (only set at creation)

## Set allowed countries

By default, every card works in the **United States** and **Ireland**. You can add up to 5 countries per card — useful for team members who travel or charge international merchants regularly.

1. Open the card detail sheet
2. Click the gear icon to edit the card
3. Under **Allowed Countries**, add or remove countries from the list
4. Save the card

The change takes effect immediately for the next transaction.

<Note>
  You can only add countries that are enabled on your account. If the country you need isn't available to select, contact [support@dash.fi](mailto:support@dash.fi) to have it enabled at the account level first.
</Note>

## Freeze and unfreeze

Freezing stops all new charges without permanently closing the card.

1. Open the card detail sheet
2. Click the snowflake icon (**Freeze**)
3. To unfreeze, click the sun icon (**Unfreeze**)

A frozen card can be unfrozen at any time.

## Archive a card

Archiving permanently closes a card. **This cannot be undone** — archived cards cannot be reactivated or modified.

1. Open the card detail sheet
2. Click **More** (the overflow menu)
3. Select **Archive** and confirm

Archived cards are hidden from the default card list view. To see them, use the **Status** filter and include **Archived**.

<Warning>
  If you only need to pause spending temporarily, freeze the card instead. Archiving is irreversible.
</Warning>

## Duplicate a card

Duplicating creates a new card with the same settings as an existing one.

1. Open the card detail sheet
2. Click **More** → **Duplicate**
3. The new card creation panel opens pre-filled with the same name (appended with " (Copy)"), type, limits, and categories
4. Adjust any settings and create

## Share card details

You can generate a secure link to share card details with someone who needs them (for example, a team member setting up an ad account).

1. Open the card detail sheet on an active card
2. Click **Share**
3. Enter the recipient's email and confirm

The recipient receives a link. **The link expires 3 days after it's first accessed.** For inactive or archived cards, you can copy basic card info (name, last four, cardholder, status) to your clipboard instead.

## Filter the card list

The default card list shows active and frozen cards. Use the filters to narrow the list:

* **Status** — active, frozen, or archived
* **Cardholder** — filter to a specific person's cards
* **Search** — search by card name

## Rewards Card

The Dash.fi Rewards Card is a separate card product from the virtual cards on this page — it's requested, managed, and troubleshot differently. Notably, allowed countries and spend categories can't be edited on a Rewards Card yourself. See [Rewards Card](/rewards/rewards-card) for how to request one, set a PIN, and resolve declines.
