# Connect your bank account

> How to link your US bank account during the Dash.fi application using Plaid.

Connecting a US bank account is required to complete your Dash.fi application. Your bank account is the funding source for card spend repayment and supports your underwriting review. The connection happens in the **Finalize Application** step of the onboarding flow.

Dash.fi uses **Plaid** to connect bank accounts securely. Your banking credentials go directly to Plaid — they're never stored by Dash.fi.

## After connecting

Once your bank account is connected and verified, complete any remaining steps in Finalize Application (beneficial owners, controlling officer) and submit. The Dash.fi team reviews your application and notifies you of approval, your spend limit, and your net terms.

If you have trouble connecting your bank account, contact [support@dash.fi](mailto:support@dash.fi) with your bank name and a description of the issue.
