# Ad Agent

> Audit your ad spend, detect fraud, recover overcharges, and reclaim credits — automatically.

The Dash.fi Ad Agent monitors your digital ad campaigns across Google and Meta. It runs two services:

* **Ad Pay Protection** audits traffic quality and detects billing discrepancies in real time.
* **Ad Credit Recovery** submits claims for overcharges and platform credits on your behalf.

Both services run in the background. There's nothing to manually review day-to-day — the agent surfaces findings in your dashboard and handles the claims process automatically.

## Ad Pay Protection

Ad Pay Protection installs a lightweight pixel on your website that captures behavioral and technical signals from every ad-driven visit. The agent compares this data against what the ad platform reported to find discrepancies.

**What it detects:**

* Bot traffic and click farms
* Ad stacking and out-of-geo impressions
* Invalid traffic (IVT) that inflates your ad costs
* Billing inconsistencies between platform-reported data and actual site behavior

**What it does:**

* Flags overcharges of 5–30% in typical advertiser accounts
* Submits refund claims directly to Google and Meta
* Reports findings in your dashboard at [app.dash.fi](https://app.dash.fi)

The pixel uses cookie-less, privacy-safe tracking. No names, emails, IP addresses, or personal identifiers are collected. See [Privacy and data](/integrations/ad-pay-protection/privacy-and-data) for a full breakdown.

## Ad Credit Recovery

Ad Credit Recovery identifies and recovers ad credits you're owed from Meta and Google — credits that are often issued but never claimed. The agent assembles the evidence, files the claims, and processes any recoveries automatically.

## Get started

1. Get your pixel script from your Dash.fi Customer Success Manager, or email [support@dash.fi](mailto:support@dash.fi)
2. Follow the [Install Pixel](/integrations/ad-pay-protection/install-pixel) guide to add the script to your site
3. Review [UTM Parameters](/integrations/ad-pay-protection/utm-parameters) to ensure your campaigns are tagged correctly

Once the pixel is live, the agent begins auditing immediately. Ad Credit Recovery runs in parallel — no separate setup required.
