# Pay Meta Ads via PayPal

> Link your Dash.fi card to PayPal and set PayPal as your Meta Ads payment method to improve payment reliability and reduce billing declines.

In some cases, charging a card directly inside Meta can result in payment declines — even when your card is active and has sufficient credit. Routing your Dash.fi card through PayPal before connecting it to Meta adds an extra layer of payment processing stability, which can improve reliability and reduce the frequency of failed transactions. This guide walks you through linking your Dash.fi card to PayPal and then setting PayPal as your primary payment method in Meta.

## Best practices

* **Maintain sufficient Dash.fi balance** — Before launching or scaling campaigns, confirm your Dash.fi card has enough available credit to cover your expected ad spend for the period.
* **Avoid repeated failed payment attempts** — Frequent declined transactions can trigger temporary restrictions from both PayPal and Meta. Address any issues promptly.
* **Use PayPal as a reliability buffer** — PayPal's payment processing layer can smooth over issues that would otherwise cause direct card charges to fail inside Meta.
