# Cards on mobile

> View cards, reveal card details, freeze or unfreeze, and request a new card from the Dash.fi iOS and Android mobile app.

The **Cards** tab shows all your active and frozen cards in a horizontal carousel. Swipe left or right to move between cards.

## Viewing your card

Each card displays the card name, last four digits, and embossed name. The home screen shows your primary card with a live gyroscope tilt effect.

### Available balance

Below the card on the home screen, the **Available** balance reflects how much remaining spend is available based on the card's spend limit for the current period.

## Reveal card details

To view the full card number, CVV, and expiry:

1. Open the **Cards** tab
2. Swipe to the card you want
3. Tap the card to flip it

The card details (PAN, CVV, expiry) are shown on the reverse. They **automatically hide after 30 seconds** for security. Tap again to hide them early.

## Freeze and unfreeze a card

From the **Home** tab:

* Tap **Freeze card** to immediately block new charges
* Tap **Unfreeze card** to restore it

Freezing is instant and reversible. A frozen card still appears in your carousel with a visual indicator.

## Request a card

Tap **Request card** from the home screen quick actions, or swipe to the end of the card carousel and tap the **+** placeholder.

Depending on your company's policy, the request is either auto-approved and the card is issued immediately, or it's sent to an approver. You'll receive an inbox notification when the decision is made.
