# Dash Cash

> Add funds to Dash Cash via ACH, domestic wire, or international wire, then instantly pay down your Dash.fi credit line in seconds — no waiting.

Dash Cash is a funding account inside your Dash.fi dashboard that gives you real-time control over your available credit. Pre-load funds into Dash Cash and pay down your credit line instantly — within seconds of confirming — instead of waiting for a bank transfer to settle. That matters during high-volume periods like Black Friday or Cyber Monday, when your campaigns can't afford a stalled credit line.

Dash Cash is available on **all net terms**, including Net 1. Any customer can pre-fund Dash Cash and use it to instantly pay down their credit line and release available limit — including on weekends.

### Dash Cash on Net-1 accounts

Net-1 customers can fully use Dash Cash: add funds, pay down the credit line instantly, and see available limit released in seconds. The only difference on Net-1 is around the **ACH "Make Payment" flow on the credit line**:

* The **Make Payment** button in the dashboard header is **hidden** on Net-1 accounts.
* Manual **ACH payments from a connected bank account** against the credit line are **not supported** on Net-1 (that flow is reserved for Net 7 and above).
* **Dash Cash paydowns are supported** on Net-1. Net-1 customers can trigger a Dash Cash payment from the **Scheduled Payments** tab (see [Making an instant payment](#making-an-instant-payment) below).

If you're on Net-1 and want a higher spend limit outside of Dash Cash, the path is to go back through **underwriting**. Underwriting will determine whether your limit can be increased, and options may include:

* **Posting collateral** — similar in concept to Dash Cash, but the funds are held as collateral and cannot be transferred out while they back the limit.
* **Linking a separate bank account** with a stronger balance to support a higher limit.
* **Other underwriting-approved paths** based on your account's financial profile.

Contact [support@dash.fi](mailto:support@dash.fi) or your account manager to be routed back through underwriting.

    * **Net 1:** the header **Make Payment** button is hidden. Go to the [Scheduled Payments tab](https://app.dash.fi/payments/scheduled) and click **Make Payment** there.

  <Step title="Click Continue and confirm">
    Click **Continue**, review the details, and confirm the payment.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Your **account limit releases instantly** and your available Dash Cash balance drops within seconds of confirmation.

<Note>
  Make Payment applies to your **most recent day of spend first**, working backwards through your outstanding balances. It doesn't pay down a general balance — it settles the newest daily charges first.
</Note>

<Tip>
  You must have sufficient funds already in your Dash Cash account to complete an instant payment. The payment will not process if your Dash Cash balance is lower than the amount you are trying to apply.
</Tip>

## Schedule a payment to free up your credit limit

If you don't have funds in Dash Cash and you're on **Net 7 or above**, the fastest way to free up your credit limit is to schedule an ACH payment directly from your connected bank account. When the payment is set to process on a given business day, **Dash.fi releases the associated amount on your credit limit that same morning (typically between 7–9 AM ET)** — you don't have to wait the 3–5 business days for the ACH to clear.

<Note>
  Scheduled ACH payments against the credit line are **not available on Net 1** accounts. Net-1 customers should pre-fund Dash Cash and pay down instantly from there.
</Note>

This is usually the simplest path when a customer needs spending capacity back quickly and hasn't pre-funded Dash Cash.

<Note>
  A wire sent to your Dash Cash account credits the balance only **when the wire is received**, then needs to be applied to the credit line. For next-business-day limit relief, a scheduled ACH from your connected bank account is faster and simpler.
</Note>

### Ways to schedule a payment

There are two places in the dashboard to schedule a manual ACH payment:

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="From the Scheduled Payments tab">
    1. Go to [app.dash.fi/payments/scheduled](https://app.dash.fi/payments/scheduled).
    2. Find the upcoming payment or spend date you want to address and click **Make Payment** for that date.
    3. Confirm the pay-from account and scheduled date, then submit.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="From the Make Payment button">
    1. In your Dash.fi dashboard, click **Make Payment** in the credit balance card on the dashboard header.
    2. Select **Connected Bank Account (ACH)** as the source.
    3. Enter the amount you want to pay and choose the scheduled processing date.
    4. Review and confirm.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

<Tip>
  Schedule the payment for the **next business day** to release limit the following morning. Selecting today after the ACH cutoff will roll the processing date forward.
</Tip>

### How scheduled ACH compares to other paydown options

| Method                                        | Limit released                             | Funds settle      |
| --------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ | ----------------- |
| **Scheduled ACH from connected bank account** | Morning of the scheduled processing date | 3–5 business days |
| **Make Payment from Dash Cash** | Instantly, in seconds | Already settled |
| **Wire to Dash Cash, then pay down** | When wire posts and you click Make Payment | 1–2 business days |

<Note>
  Make sure your connected bank account has sufficient funds on the scheduled date. A returned ACH can lead to a bounced payment — see [Bounced payments](/payments/bounced-payments) for what happens next.
