# Request a spend limit increase

> How to request a higher spend limit on your Dash.fi account.

Your spend limit is the total amount you can charge across all Dash.fi cards. If you're consistently approaching your limit, you can request an increase.

## How to request an increase

Email [support@dash.fi](mailto:support@dash.fi) or contact your account manager. Include:

* Your business name and account email
* The current limit and the amount you're requesting
* A brief description of the spend that's driving the need (for example, increased ad spend volume or a new campaign)

## What Dash.fi considers

Limit decisions are based on your account's overall financial profile, including:

* **Spend history** — consistent and predictable spend patterns support higher limits
* **Cash balance** — the balance maintained in your connected bank account is a key input in underwriting decisions
* **Account standing** — on-time payment history and no recent failed payments
* **Business growth** — significant changes in your business or revenue that aren't yet reflected in your account history
* **Financial statements** — 24 months of income statements and balance sheets are typically required as part of the review

Providing accurate and up-to-date information when you apply — and keeping your bank account funded — supports higher limits over time.

<Note>
  Limit reviews take multiple business days. If you have an urgent spend need, plan ahead — or ask your account manager about options while the review is in progress.
</Note>

<Tip>
  If you're approaching your limit while waiting for a review, a [Rewards Card](/rewards/rewards-card) draws from a separate limit and can cover spend in the meantime.
</Tip>

## Card-level limits

Spend limits also exist at the individual card level. These are separate from the account limit and can be adjusted directly in the dashboard by anyone with card edit permission. See [Manage cards](/cards/manage-cards) for how to update a card's limit.

<Note>
  If a single card is blocking a transaction, check the card's limit first before requesting an account-level increase. An account-level limit won't help if the individual card limit is the constraint.
