# Company

> Edit your vendor portal company profile and choose whether any Dash.fi customer can find and connect to you.

The **Company** page controls how your business appears to Dash.fi customers and whether customers can connect to you without an invite.

## Company profile

Click **Edit** on the **Company profile** card to change these fields:

| Field | Required |
| - | - |
| **Trading name** | Yes |
| **Legal name** | No |
| **What you do** | No |
| **State** and **Country** | No. Provide both or neither. |

Click **Save**. If you have connected customers, the button reads **Save and sync to your customers**, and your changes are sent to them.

<Note>
  Once you publish an optional field, you can replace it but not clear it. Leaving it blank keeps what customers already see.
</Note>

## Vendor network visibility

The **Vendor Network** card sets your visibility. New vendor portals start private.

| Visibility | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Public** | Any Dash.fi customer can connect to you and see the payment methods and contacts you share with everyone. Tax info is shared only when you approve a request. |
| **Private** | Customers you're not connected with have to send you a request first. |

Click **Make public** or **Make private** to switch. The header of every portal page shows your current visibility.

## What customers can see

Connected customers can see:

* Your company name and location.
* The payment methods you share with them, with the last four digits only.
* The contacts you share with them.
* Your tax info, only when you approve a request.

Customers never see:

* Your full bank account numbers.
* Your other customers.
* Your team and sign-in activity.
* The decisions you make on their requests.

Click **See who has your profile** to open [Customers](/vendor-portal/customers).
