# Tax info

> Publish your tax ID and address in the vendor portal for Dash.fi customers filing 1099s, and control who can see it.

The **Tax info** page holds your tax ID and address for customers filing 1099s. Dash.fi never shares your tax info unless a customer requests it and you approve.

## Publish tax info

1. Click **Publish tax info**.

2. Fill in the details:

   | Field | Notes |
   | - | - |
   | **Tax ID type** | **EIN** or **SSN**. |
   | **Tax ID** | 9 digits. |
   | **Street address** | Required. |
   | **Line 2** | Optional. |
   | **City**, **State**, **ZIP code** | Required. |
   | **Country** | Pick from the list. Defaults to United States. |

3. Under **Shared with**, choose **All connected customers** or **Selected customers only**. You set this in the same step, so your tax info is never public by accident.

4. Click **Publish**.

Customers you approve can then copy your tax info into their records.

<Note>
  Publishing doesn't share your tax info on its own. A customer must request **Tax info**, and you must approve the request on the [Customers](/vendor-portal/customers) page.
</Note>

## Edit tax info

The **Published tax info** card shows your tax ID type, tax ID, address, and who it's shared with. Click **Edit**, make your changes, and click **Publish**. Saving publishes a new version, and every customer holding your tax info is offered the change.

## Withdraw tax info

Click **Withdraw tax info** below the card, then confirm. Customers holding a copy are offered a removal. Dash.fi keeps your **Shared with** choice for the next time you publish.
