Re-authorise an existing connection
If your bank account shows a Needs Update badge, it means the connection has expired or been interrupted. To restore it:- Go to Accounts & Funding in the left-hand navigation
- Find the account showing Needs Update
- Click Re-authorize
- Follow the Plaid steps to reconnect your bank account
Adding or changing to a different bank account
To connect a new bank account, go to Accounts & Funding and use the option to add a new account. The connection is made through Plaid — you’ll log in to your bank directly through the Plaid interface.If you’re changing banks entirely, make sure the new connection is active before your next payment is due. A missing or broken connection can cause a payment to fail and suspend your account. See Bounced payments for what to do if a payment fails.
