Your connected bank account is used as the funding source for Dash.fi payments. You can update it from the Accounts & Funding page in your dashboard.

Re-authorise an existing connection

If your bank account shows a Needs Update badge, it means the connection has expired or been interrupted. To restore it:
  1. Go to Accounts & Funding in the left-hand navigation
  2. Find the account showing Needs Update
  3. Click Re-authorize
  4. Follow the Plaid steps to reconnect your bank account
If the Re-authorize button isn’t available and you see Contact Support instead, the connection can’t be repaired automatically. Email support@dash.fi and the team will help you update it.

Adding or changing to a different bank account

To connect a new bank account, go to Accounts & Funding and use the option to add a new account. The connection is made through Plaid — you’ll log in to your bank directly through the Plaid interface.
If you’re changing banks entirely, make sure the new connection is active before your next payment is due. A missing or broken connection can cause a payment to fail and suspend your account. See Bounced payments for what to do if a payment fails.

Impact on ACH Auto-Pay

ACH Auto-Pay is authorised at your bank, not through Plaid. If you change banks, you’ll need to re-authorise Dash.fi as an approved payee at the new bank. See Set up ACH Auto-Pay for instructions. Updating your bank connection in Dash.fi doesn’t automatically carry over ACH authorisation from your previous bank.
