Connecting a US bank account is required to complete your Dash.fi application. Your bank account is the funding source for card spend repayment and supports your underwriting review. The connection happens in the Finalize Application step of the onboarding flow. Dash.fi uses Plaid to connect bank accounts securely. Your banking credentials go directly to Plaid — they’re never stored by Dash.fi.

Connect during the application

Reach the Finalize Application step

Progress through Qualification, Business Details, Identity Verification, and Terms & Conditions. The bank connection is part of the Finalize Application step.

Click Connect

Next to Bank Account, click Connect. This opens the Plaid interface.

Search for your bank

In the Plaid window, search for your bank by name. Most major US banks support instant connection.

Authenticate

Log in to your bank through Plaid. Depending on your bank, this may involve your online banking credentials and a two-factor authentication step.

Select your account

Choose the business checking account you want to connect as your funding source.

Confirm

Plaid returns you to Dash.fi. The connected account appears with your bank name and last four digits.

Manual verification (micro-deposits)

If your bank doesn’t support instant connection through Plaid, verify manually:

Choose manual entry

In the Plaid window, scroll down and select Link with account numbers if your bank isn’t listed or instant auth fails.

Enter routing and account numbers

Type in your bank’s routing number and your account number exactly as they appear on your bank statement or check.

Wait for micro-deposits

Plaid sends two small deposits (between 0.01and0.01 and 0.99) to your account. These typically arrive within 1–2 business days.

Verify the deposits

When the deposits arrive, return to Finalize Application and click Verify next to your pending bank account. Enter the two deposit amounts to confirm ownership.

Confirm the green checkmark

When the connection succeeds, you’ll see a green checkmark confirming the bank account is linked.
While your bank account is pending verification, you’ll see a yellow “Verification is in progress” banner. You can’t submit your application until the bank account is verified.

Connect from the dashboard

If you’re already inside the dashboard, manage your bank connections from the Financial Accounts page:

Log in to your Dash.fi account

Go to app.dash.fi and sign in with your credentials.

Open Financial Accounts

Click Financial Accounts in the left-hand navigation.

Connect an account

Under Connected Bank Accounts, click Connect Account and follow the Plaid prompts to authenticate and link your bank.

After connecting

Once your bank account is connected and verified, complete any remaining steps in Finalize Application (beneficial owners, controlling officer) and submit. The Dash.fi team reviews your application and notifies you of approval, your spend limit, and your net terms. If you have trouble connecting your bank account, contact support@dash.fi with your bank name and a description of the issue.
