Rates by category
Your actual rates are defined in your account’s rewards terms and may differ. Rates are set at the account level — not per card and not per merchant — so you can’t change the rate on an individual card. The “All other purchases” rate isn’t fixed at 2% on every merchant — your effective cashback depends on the interchange the transaction generates. See Qualified vs. non-qualified interchange below.
Monthly qualification
To earn rewards in a given month, your total spend across all Dash.fi cards must meet the minimum monthly threshold. Months below the threshold don’t accrue cashback.Qualified vs. non-qualified interchange
Your cashback is tied to interchange — the fee paid by the merchant’s bank on each transaction. A transaction is qualified when it generates interchange at or above the Mastercard standard rate for the category. To maximise qualified interchange:- Match each card’s configured vendor to the merchant you’re actually charging. A card assigned to “Meta” used for Google Ads will likely generate non-qualified interchange.
- Create a separate card for each ad network or major vendor — one card per purpose.
If you notice unexpected cashback adjustments on a quarterly statement, your account manager can walk through the interchange breakdown for each card.
