The Payment methods page is where you publish how customers on the Dash.fi network pay you.
Dash.fi stores bank details encrypted. Customers see the last four digits of the account number and the routing number, never the full account number. Every change you save is offered to each customer to accept.

Add a payment method

  1. Click Add a payment method.
  2. Choose a type:
    • Bank account for ACH: routing and account number for direct deposit.
    • Single-use virtual card: an email address that receives one card number per payment.
  3. Fill in the details.
  4. Under Shared with, choose who can see it. See Choose who can see it.
  5. Click Publish.
The new method appears in each selected customer’s change queue for them to accept.

Choose who can see it

Every payment method has a Shared with setting:
  • All connected customers: every customer you’re connected with, including ones you connect with later.
  • Selected customers only: pick the customers who can see and adopt it. This option is available once you have a connected customer.
A customer only sees a payment method if you also share Payment methods with them on the Customers page. To change who can see a published method, open its menu and click Who can see this, or click the Shared with value on its card.

Edit a payment method

Open the method’s menu and click Edit.
  • For a bank account, you can change the Account name and Account type.
  • For a single-use card, you can change the Card delivery email.
Click Save. Saving publishes a new version, and every customer holding the method is offered the change.
You can’t change a bank account’s routing or account number. To use a different account, publish a new payment method and withdraw the old one.

Withdraw a payment method

Open the method’s menu and click Withdraw, then confirm. Dash.fi removes the method from the network. Customers holding a copy are offered a removal, and their copy stays payable until they accept it.
