The vendor portal notifies you when a Dash.fi customer takes an action that affects you — for example, requesting a connection, adopting details you’ve published, or updating a bill. Notifications appear in two places: the bell icon in the top-right of the portal, and your email inbox if you have email delivery on.

The notification bell

The bell in the portal shell shows an unread count and opens the in-app feed. Clicking a notification takes you to the relevant page. The bell reflects the same feed as the full Notifications page. Open the full page from the bell’s See all link, or by navigating to Notifications from the sidebar. From there you can:
  • Mark all read — clears the unread count on every notification currently in the feed. This button only appears when you have unread notifications.
  • Preferences — opens the Preferences page to choose how you’re notified.
If you have no notifications yet, the page shows an empty state — Dash.fi will start populating the feed as customers act on your account.

Preferences

Notifications → Preferences is where you choose which channels deliver each category of notification. Toggles save when you click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

Channels

Two channels are available in the vendor portal:
  • Email — sent to the address on your profile.
  • In-app — shown in the notification bell and the Notifications page.
Security and sign-in emails (for example, password resets and 2FA codes) are always sent, regardless of your preferences. They aren’t part of the preference toggles.

Categories

The vendor portal has one notification category: Both Email and In-app are on by default for Customer activity. Turn a channel off if you don’t want to receive that category through it, and leave the other on to keep receiving notifications through the remaining channel.

Save changes

The Save changes button becomes active once you change a toggle. Click it to store the update. Dash.fi shows a confirmation toast on success, and an error toast if the save fails — retry in that case. If your preferences fail to load in the first place, the page shows a Failed to load preferences banner with a Retry button.
