The Transactions tab gives you a live view of all card activity on your account. Filtering that list lets you zero in on specific cards, date ranges, or charges, while the export feature makes it easy to pull records for bookkeeping, reporting, or sharing with your team.

Viewing your transactions

Log in to Dash.fi

Sign in to your account at app.dash.fi.

Open Card Transactions

In the left-hand navigation, go to Spend → Card Transactions.

Review the transaction table

The table displays all card activity on your account. Each row includes:
  • Transaction Date – When the charge was made
  • Descriptor – The merchant name or description as reported by the merchant
  • Card Name – The nickname of the card used
  • Last 4 Digits – The last four digits of the card number
  • Amount – The transaction amount
  • Status – The current processing status of the transaction

Filtering transactions

When you have a large transaction history, filters help you surface the exact records you need quickly.

Open the filter panel

Click the Show Filters button above the transaction table.

Apply your filters

Choose from the following filter options:
  • Card Name – Select one or more cards from the dropdown to show only transactions from those cards.
  • Last Four Digits – Type the last four digits of a specific card number to isolate its transactions.
  • Date Range – Specify a start and end date to view transactions within a particular period.

Review the filtered results

The transaction table updates automatically as you apply filters. You can combine multiple filters to narrow results further.
Filtering by Last Four Digits is useful when you have multiple cards with similar names, or when a merchant’s customer service team asks you to verify which card was used for a specific charge.

Finding a merchant activation code

Some ad platforms and merchant platforms verify card ownership by charging a small amount — typically around $1 — and embedding a short verification code in the transaction descriptor. You’ll need to enter this code on the platform to confirm the card.

Go to Card Transactions

Log in and go to Spend → Card Transactions.

Filter by the card in question

Use the Last Four Digits filter to narrow results to the specific card you added to the platform. This removes unrelated transactions and makes the small test charge easier to spot.

Find the code in the Descriptor column

Look for a transaction with a small amount (typically around $1). The verification code will appear in the Descriptor column for that transaction.

Enter the code on the platform

Copy the code from the Descriptor and paste it into the verification field on the merchant or ad platform.
Activation codes are typically a short string of numbers or letters embedded in the descriptor text. If you see a descriptor that looks like it contains an unusual code, that’s likely what you’re looking for.

Exporting transactions and payments

You can download your payment history as a CSV or PDF file for accounting, reconciliation, or reporting purposes.

Log in and go to the Payments tab

Sign in to your Dash.fi account and go to Spend → Payments in the left-hand navigation.

Click the Download button

Click the Download button in the upper-right corner of the page.

Select your date range

Choose the start and end dates for the records you want to export.

Choose a file format

Select either CSV (for use in spreadsheet applications like Excel or Google Sheets) or PDF (for easy sharing and archiving).

Download the file

Click Download to generate and save the file to your device.
Use the CSV format if you plan to import the data into accounting software or manipulate it in a spreadsheet. Use PDF if you need a clean, print-ready record to share with a client or accountant.
