To get the full Shipping Agent experience with UPS you connect two things:
  1. Your Dash.fi card as a payment method in the UPS Billing Center — routes UPS charges through Dash.fi for invoice-level auditing.
  2. The UPS live API — enables Guaranteed Service Refund (GSR) claim detection on the Late Shipments tab.
Both are self-serve. The card setup is covered below; the UPS API connection is set up from Agents → Shipping → Configure → UPS API in app.dash.fi — see Connect the UPS API at the bottom of this page.
UPS refers to all payment methods — including credit cards — through the Add Bank Account workflow in the Billing Center. Don’t let the label confuse you; this is the correct path for adding a credit card.

Update your payment method

1

Log in to ups.com

Go to ups.com and sign in to your account.
2

Navigate to View and Pay Bill

From the My Profile menu, select View and Pay Bill.
3

Open the UPS Billing Center

In the Tools and Resources menu, select UPS Billing Center to enter the billing management portal.
4

Go to Payment Accounts

Inside the Billing Center, navigate to the Payment Accounts tab.
5

Add your Dash.fi card

Click Add Bank Account. When prompted to choose a payment type, select the credit card option and enter your Dash.fi card details.
6

Set Dash.fi as your default (optional)

To make Dash.fi the automatic payment method for all future invoices, go to the Manage Automatic Payments screen and set your Dash.fi card as the default.
Setting Dash.fi as the default payment method ensures that all UPS invoices are paid automatically and captured in Dash.fi’s audit workflow — no manual payment selection required.

Pay a specific invoice with your Dash.fi card

If you want to pay a particular invoice with your Dash.fi card rather than updating your default payment method, you have two options:
1

Open the invoice in UPS Billing Center

Navigate to the UPS Billing Center and locate the invoice you want to pay.
2

Select the invoice

Click on the invoice to open the payment screen.
3

Choose credit card as the payment method

Select the credit card payment option and choose your Dash.fi card from your saved payment methods (or enter your card details if it hasn’t been saved yet).
UPS also allows you to pay an invoice without signing in to a full account. On the UPS website, look for the guest payment option and enter your invoice information along with your Dash.fi card details to complete the payment.
If you manage multiple UPS account numbers, make sure you add and configure your Dash.fi card under each account separately. Audit Recovery only applies to accounts where Dash.fi is the active payment method.

Connect the UPS API

The UPS API connection powers Guaranteed Service Refund (GSR) claim detection. When enabled, the Shipping Agent pulls delivery-time data for your UPS shipments, flags packages that arrived late enough to qualify for a refund, and populates the Late Shipments worklist. Use this if you ship with UPS and want Dash.fi to detect refund-eligible late deliveries automatically. Invoice and contract audits work without it — the API connection specifically unlocks Late Shipments.
1

Open the Configure modal

In app.dash.fi, go to Agents → Shipping and click Configure in the top bar.
2

Select UPS API

In the Configure modal’s left nav, choose UPS API.
3

Start the connection

Click Connect UPS API. Dash.fi redirects you to UPS to sign in and authorize access to your shipment tracking data.
4

Confirm the connection

UPS returns you to the Shipping dashboard. The UPS API section now shows your connected UPS account, and the Late Shipments tab switches from the connect prompt to the GSR claims worklist.
To remove the connection, return to Configure → UPS API and click Disconnect. The Late Shipments tab reverts to the Connect UPS API prompt, and new claims stop being detected until you reconnect.
The UPS API connection is independent from the payment-method setup above. You can connect either one first — but you’ll get the most out of the Shipping Agent by doing both.
