These steps export your supplier details and payment history from Sage 50 so you can bring your vendors into Dash.fi.

Supplier list with detailed information

  1. Open Sage 50 and log in to your company file.
  2. Go to the Reports menu and select Vendors & Payables. Look for a report that matches the details you want, such as Vendor List or Vendor Contact List.
  3. If no pre-defined report includes everything you need, use the Report Designer (from the Reports menu) to modify an existing vendor report or start a new one.
  4. In the Report Designer, add fields for the supplier’s address, phone number, email, contact, EIN, and Vendor ID by dragging them from the available fields list onto your report layout.
  5. Save your changes.
  6. Run the report, applying any filtering criteria you need (for example, active suppliers only), then preview or print it.

Payments to suppliers in the last 12 months

  1. Open Sage 50, go to the Reports menu, and choose Vendors & Payables.
  2. Look for a payments report such as Payments by Vendor or Check Register. If payments weren’t only made by check, you may need a report that shows all transactions.
  3. Set the date range to cover the last 12 months from today.
  4. If the existing reports don’t fit exactly, use the Report Designer to modify or create a report that includes payment details for the last 12 months, with a date-range filter applied.
  5. Save any custom reports for future use.
  6. Run the report, then preview or print it.

Bring these vendors into Dash.fi

Once you’ve exported your vendor list, bulk import it on the Vendors tab — upload your file and map its columns to Dash.fi’s vendor fields. See Import your vendor list.
